We are proud to announce that we have been nominated, for the second consecutive year, as one of fourteen finalists in the Chocolate category of the Good Food Awards. After winning the award last year with our Ghana 70% Dark bar, this year we celebrate the achievement of our Gingerbread bar

We entered the Gingerbread bar this year for the same reason behind entering the Ghana bar last year; it was a fan favorite. Initially a seasonal bar, we began manufacturing Gingerbread year-round due to interest from our customers. It was this following and enthusiasm for the bar that made it our first choice for this year’s entry. We are happy to see that the enthusiasm is not simply ours, but also that of the Good Food Awards tasting team this year.

In two months, we will be traveling to San Francisco for the awards ceremony of The Good Food Awards, which recognize craftsmanship as well as sustainability within the culinary industry. We are proud to once again be among the finalists, all of whom have been recognized for making chocolate with careful attention to quality and ethical standards and look forward to January 15, when the winners will be announced.

The Gingerbread bar is made in house from bean to bar 55% Buttermilk Chocolate. We fold in house made gingerbread from many locally sourced ingredients including Pennsylvania Maple Syrup!
